Based on the analysis of Pakistan’s current environmental and economic state, the paper outlines concrete challenges caused by climate change. Pakistan, as a developing country, has higher incidences of poverty and the country is facing a number of problems. It is looking for macroeconomic stability, poverty reduction, higher economic growth, and development. Regarding climate change, vulnerabilities are expected to be increased across the globe; however, the extent of these weaknesses would be unequal. Poor people and regions would be more susceptible to climate change and adverse impacts, as compared to rich people and regions.
